PART I  -  PROCESS/IMPLEMENTATION EVALUATION

Please list three major implementation strategies that already are in place in your school/organization.  Then beneath each one, list how you could actually evaluate (1) if it is actually being done and (2) how completely it is being done (Fidelity).

1. Home Visits Do we do them each year? Is every child visited without judgment for their home circumstances?
2. Unstructured Time Is there time in the day for teachers to have time with students without it being tied to academic classes? Do 100% of students surveyed identify adult they can go to with their challenges?
3. Teachers at doors during passing period Do we see teachers at doors or in hallways during passing periods? Are at least 30/35 teachers at their doors or in the hallway during passing period?

PART II – CLIMATE/CULTURE EVALUATION

Think back to the different dimensions of climate/culture that we discussed previously in class.  Pick three aspects that you want to assess in your school.  Then list them below and consider what might be evidence of each.

3. Prioritization - This is a school of… When asking adults what we are a school of, how many give the response we think they should? When asking students/community members what we are a school of, how many give the response we think they should?

PART III  -  OUTCOME EVALUATION

Think of four outcomes of your character education initiative.  These should be aspects of the development of character in students; e.g., your core values/strengths.  List them below and then list what might be ways to assess if they are changing; what we want here are examples of evidence of their existence and growth.
