Director of Operations, Life Lab
I now serve as Director of Operations at Life Lab, where I manage the systems and infrastructure that keep the company running across sales, technology, data, and compliance.
What That Looks Like In Practice
- Data and CRM: I maintain our HubSpot instance, build contact lists, manage district and school records, design outreach sequences, source and enrich K-12 prospect data from NCES, deduplicate records, and keep the pipeline clean.
- Technical infrastructure: I build and maintain the automations that connect HubSpot, Instantly, DocuSeal, Kit, and our internal systems so contacts, documents, and reporting move where they should.
- Compliance and onboarding: I handle district-facing privacy and vendor review work, including DPAs, security assessments, and IT review questions, so we have clear answers when schools ask how we manage data.
- AI and automation: I manage AI-enabled workflows across the organization, including the Claude Code environment I use daily to build scripts, process data, and maintain internal knowledge.
- Content operations: I support video production logistics and help move content through our publishing workflow.
The Through-Line
Much of my job is translating decisions into working systems. I help keep things from falling through the cracks between Jeff, Heather, and Jeanne by turning cross-functional needs into processes people can actually rely on.
It is operational work, but it is also design work: building the structure that lets a mission-driven organization move with clarity.
