Where do I Search for Funders?

If you are just beginning to search for funders for your project, start here:

https://www.grants.gov/learn-grants/grant-programs.html

For large federal grants, search this website:

https://www.grants.gov/

If you are looking for funding from non-governmental foundations, review this website:

https://www.cof.org/page/philanthropic-support-network#funder

For smaller statewide granting agencies, try this:

Missouri GrantWatch <Joy@grantwatch.com

Most large corporations and non-profit organizations have foundations that may routinely or periodically publish proposals requesting proposals for grant funds. If you know of an organization that supports your cause in their mission statement and strategic plans, review their website for opportunities.

Finally, many organizations have development offices that receive requests for proposals. Let your organization know that you are interested in having these forwarded to you.
